SHOTOVER Showcases Export-Ready K1 and F1 Aerial Camera Systems at International BIRTV Trade Show

SHOTOVER joined with Beijing Shadow Times Culture Co., China’s largest professional aerial filming service provider, to present the groundbreaking SHOTOVER K1 and SHOTOVER F1 aerial camera systems at the Beijing International Radio, TV & Film Exhibition (BIRTV).  The exhibition follows SHOTOVER’s recent high profile work in China, including the exclusive use of its flagship K1 for shooting the aerial sequences in Hollywood blockbuster Transformers 4.  Landmarks featured in the film include the Great Wall of China and Wulong National Park.

To support sales in the fast-growing China market, SHOTOVER has named Julia Yang as Sales and Marketing Director, China. Ms. Yang will be based in Beijing and will work closely with Beijing Shadow Times’ owner Gong Bin and his new company – Beijing Aerial Service Co. LTD – which will be the exclusive reseller for SHOTOVER in China.  The venture will also provide a service center to allow SHOTOVER owners to get authorized, in-country service of their aerial camera systems.

“China represents an amazing opportunity for SHOTOVER with increasing demand from the motion picture and broadcast industries for high quality aerial cinematography solutions,” said Alan Purwin, president of SHOTOVER.  “As the only provider of ultra high-performance motion picture aerial camera systems with no ITAR restrictions and no EAR licensing requirements, SHOTOVER is perfectly positioned to help both Chinese and international productions capture the aerial shots they need when shooting anywhere in the world.”
